Meeting Recap - October 14, 2007

MacGroup Meeting in progress At our October meeting we welcomed very special guest Scott Kelby, president of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Scott is the number one selling computer book author in the world (3 years in a row) and is a Photoshop guru.

MacGroup member Shirley Kussner arranged a very warm welcome for Scott with a sign made up of individual letters saying "Welcome Scott" which were held by members outside our meeting location for Scott's arrival. MacGroup members volunteered to hold up the letters and balloons and it was the best welcome that Scott had ever received for any speaking engagement.

Scott used MacGroup-Detroit to debut his brand NEW Scott Kelby's 7-Point System for Adobe Photoshop CS3. which his NEW book with the same title is based on. As usual Scott delivered a knock out presentation and we were blown away by his tips and techniques for making just about any photo look better. Scott had a good time and said so on his blog.
